Intended Audience: This course is best suited for IHS customers who are Land Administrators, Surface Land Professionals, Mineral Rights Land Professionals, Geologists, Engineers, and employees who wish to learn more advanced functionality in the AccuMap

Description:  This advanced course provides you with an in-depth knowledge of the Land module within AccuMap. It gives you access to the most complete and accurate crown and detailed freehold land ownership database in Canada. It enables you to see who the operators are, easily and efficiently analyze A & D opportunities, determine mineral rights in your area of interest, and more.

Prerequisite: AccuMap Introduction

Course topics include:

• - Displaying land layers for sale or activity maps, Leased Crown, Freehold and Open Lands
• - Drawing regions and annotations to create top quality presentation maps
• - Posting text on land maps and customizing land cards
• - Creating zonal searches, and investigating continuations and expirations through land related queries
• - Saving and customizing data and land lists attributes
• - Exporting land lists as Shapefiles and .CSV files
• - Linking AccuMap Classic to CS Explorer
• - Tying well data to land
