The GeoSyn 1D training class covers the options and workflows that every new user will need in order to operate GeoSyn successfully. Topics include:
- Using the Kingdom Data Browser to select wells and log data from a Kingdom project database,
- Loading well logs, seismic, and other data from external sources,
- Exporting data from GeoSyn,
- Navigating the GeoSyn Synthetic Display and selecting display parameters,
- How to perform basic Log Editing functions,
- How to generate and apply seismic wavelets to synthetic models.
Students will also learn a basic GeoSyn workflow that will take them from the beginning to the end of the synthetic generation process, including methods for matching a generated synthetic to seismic data within GeoSyn and Kingdom.
