AccuMap Introduction

Intended Audience: This course is best suited to IHS Markit customers who are learning how to use AccuMap, trialing companies, those who are new to the oil and gas industry, and those who are looking to pace their learning before continuing with other AccuMap courses. This course is designed for Land personnel, Geologists, Engineers, Geophysicists, Geoscientists, Analysts, Technologists, Technicians, Administrators, Accounting and other petroleum industry personnel who have some familiarity with the software and data.

Description: You will learn how to take advantage of our New AccuMap software, the most trusted source of detailed subsurface information. This introductory course enables you to create maps, turn on Map Features, save and print maps. From data queries to mapping to subsurface analysis, this course enables you to inspect extensive exploration and production databases, build basic queries, work with lists, and more.

Prerequisite: AccuMap Introduction

Next Class: AccuMap Land Maps and Data or AccuMap Geology Maps and Data

• - Creating, saving, navigating, and customizing detail maps;
• - Making and working with directories to organize maps and lists;
• - Inspecting wells, new wells and daily pipelines proficiently;
• - Learning query functionality for wells, pools and more;
• - Saving, customizing attributes, and exporting data lists directly into other programs;
• - Determining print area, print preview and print setup for maps
